How everything on WAEC EXAM works — and what to do when something does not.
Getting started in two minutes
You do not need an account to begin. Open the practice page, choose a subject, and start answering — your score appears the moment you submit. When you are ready to keep your results, create a free account; scores you earned as a guest are saved to it automatically.
Practising effectively
Work in the format the real exam now uses: timed, on a screen, one question at a time.
- Pick a subject and, if you want a real paper feel, a single year — or mix years for variety.
- Review every wrong answer immediately after the test while the question is fresh.
- Repeat weak topics in short daily sessions rather than one long weekend cram.
- Use the Syllabus & Timetable Hub to check off syllabus topics as you master them.
Battles, XP and streaks
The 1v1 Arena turns revision into a contest: beat friends or training opponents in timed head-to-head rounds to earn XP and rating points. XP also rewards daily practice, so a short session every day grows your level faster than occasional marathons.
Leaderboards and your school
The leaderboards rank students (Smart), battlers (Arena) and schools. Link your school in your profile so your scores count towards your school's national position. If your school is missing, you can submit it for approval from the schools directory.
Account and login help
- Forgot your password? Use the reset link on the login page; the email arrives within a few minutes — check spam if it does not.
- Signed up with Google? Always use the Google button; a password will not exist for that account until you set one.
- Profile photo: upload a square photo from your dashboard so friends recognise you on the leaderboards.
- Wrong school linked? Update it from your dashboard profile settings.
Technical help
- Install the app: in your browser menu choose "Add to Home screen" to run WAEC EXAM like an app.
- Page looks outdated? The app updates itself in the background; closing and reopening it, or refreshing once, loads the newest version.
- Low data? Practice pages are text-first and small; avoid re-loading the homepage on a weak connection — go straight to practice.
- Something is broken? Note the page and what you tapped, then email us — reports from students fix most issues within days.
Still stuck?
Email contact@userfriendlysites.com or message us through the contact page and we will get back to you. For exam dates, registration and syllabus changes, the Syllabus & Timetable Hub is updated whenever an exam body publishes something new.
